a lovely doll for a lovely girl...

i made a doll just a month ago, and  a friend of mine asked me if i could make one for her niece.  so here's the doll i made for adel.

i made it using the same black apple doll pattern, i changed the hair, hands,
... and feet.

for the face, i used one red robin's dolls as inspiration... i love the jet black eyes!

i also embroidered adel's name on the bottom of the doll's dress.

here's "adel" with the other doll i made last month (i think i'll call her "prima" - because she is my first one)

adel and prima - as if they've been the best of friends since the 1960's...

hope you like it!

happy wednesday!

xo,
carla

Great job. When I started out, I was always looking at One Red Robins dolls, but more her owls and bunnies. She is amazing.

Pirate boy is almost done.
